Now I wish I had gone to that fight. The main reasons I didn't were that I went fishing yesterday (And caught a 66 3/4 lb wahoo!) and that because of Don King, I don't think of any money spent on a ticket to a boxing match as money safely invested. Too many weird happenings, especially with Tyson, seem to go on instead of many clean, honest to goodness heavyweight fights. If I were wholly convinced that nothing stupid would happen and throw the fight, that it would in fact be a pure contest of who's better determined solely by their ability, I'd go to them. Apparently this one turned out the way it should have, but you nor I could have been sure of it. Someone could have thrown a chair into the ring, Tyson could have gone for another bite, a random earthquake could have happened...
But I guess that was a risk to be taken and in this instance perhaps I should have. And it was closer to home for me than it likely ever will again
