Myself and half a dozen others have allready booked a week off work and arranged holiday let from the friday to the friday, if you change it were all out of pocket as well as some will still have to have that week off due to work shedules that cant be changed, As the dates and venue have been advertised since december It would be fairer to leave it this year...Pete

Terrain wise i think it would make a good big game arena.:D
I'm not sure about the date though, i think it's going to bring 3 scenario events too close together, WOR4 on the 21st of august, Braveheart is the week after that. There are maybe people who want to do them all but possibly can not afford to if they arn't spread out a bit. I assume the original date dosn't clash with anything so is the idea of bringing it foward maybe an attempt at trying to garuntee better weather.

Another option

I have a tournie on the 16 October but this could be moved to the 9 October as the venue etc..... has not been confirmed. So we could have the big game on 15-16 October, the only downside is the moving to September could give a warmer event and lighter nights. Any thoughts ??

Steve

I appreciate I can't suit everyone but would like to have a compromise date that will suit 95% of loyal "Kennys" players.
The venue change is partly due to complaints about last years event (nothing I hasten to add with the organisation or the scenario element) and to give a change of terrain etc... If the change works then maybe in 2007 we could go to another venue. I hear you say why 2007 well if we build a Staargate at Wakefield then we can play the scenario for two years the same as we have with Kenny's and Staar wars.

Yes, can't argue about the dates now.
Shame though i was going to go to braveheart, but it is now on the same weekend as our biker party. It's hard having such a busy life trying to fit everthing in :( :( :(
