Ok let's see what kind of response I get here! I heard on the news all day that you can make 500 pounds for turning you mates over for drink driving.:D I can see turning a total stranger in but your mates? Hell 500 pounds to keep them from possibly killing someone! I guess if I were to warn them and they took it upon themselves to get behind the wheel... HELL YEAH I WOULD! It is this kind of irresponsibility that takes lives every day especially around the holidays! What do you think???

Hmmm can you do it without them finding out?

Good way of getting a new marker.

Seriously I would be torn between doing the right thing or sticking by my mates.

I think I would if they were seriously over the limit.

I think it would make the more responsible driver think twise about that extra pint lets face it, it won't be you mate turning you in it will be some one how knows you and mabey you've pissed off.
just the guy on the next bar stool, after all, how well do you have to Know the bloke with his mates chatting all night to pick up his name and see what car he drives;)

Once upon a time I lived with an alcohlic, it was very stressfull he was no better when banned I don't tend to drink now after that. I resently was told he has just finished a prison sentance for drink driving.

That was his four or fith convictoon I know of:confused:

Sensible reasonable people will think;)

Sad *******s will get rich

And if your going to chance it just watch it.

I don't agree with drink driving

I'm not a saint I've done it once long ago only a little over but enough to realise.
I was lucky no one got hurt no one even realised but I knew and I didn't feel to proud of my self having got from a to b with freinds and loved ones in the car:eek:

I once saw the so called light... I was pissed out of my head driving home from a party back in SoCal. When I stopped at the light after 1 case or so of beer a police car pulled right next to me. I some what swore there if he did not stop me there on the spot NO MORE Drink driving. I also ruined a perfectly new motorcycle cause I was so pissed I forgot to put my feet down! Anyhow if any of you on here drink please remember do it responsibly!

Okay, here's how I feel......
DON'T turn your mates in, it's a *******ly thing to do. However, if you see one of your mates get behind the wheel while somewhat sloshed, KICK HIS ASS!!!!!!
I know I've made some statements about breaking legs in other threads, but this time I'm serious. Beat his ass up. He deserves it, and should be thankfull the next day.
If someone is a true friend, they should be able to take criticism from you, and this is the type of 'constructive' criticism they deserve. Not because they run the risk of killing themselves, but because drunk drivers always end up killing other people.
I'm not trying to be 'holier thay thou', god knows I've done my share of stupid, and sometimes illegal stuff, but I can honestly say that I never EVER got behind the wheel after having had even the tiniest of drinks. The fact that I don't have a driver's lisence has nothing to do with this at all. :D

Take his keys

It's not difficult to take the guys keys!!

£500 is for the most serious of cases - most awards are £80 i understand.

Shopping a stranger wouldn't be difficult - stopping a friend is essential

Dam right Buddha, kick his ass all over the place then charge him 500 quid for saving his life.
I like your plan there Fooey! I would probably end up driving someone home or beating thier ass before letting them drive drunk to get the 500 pounds! The best this is a little foresight... Bring a non drinking friend to the pub and have them drive!
