Best of luck Pete. Hope your problems get sorted quickly and you can get back to the sport you obviously love.

I Love The Fun Police
What a sad day. As a young punk, just making my bones in the ball yard, there is no one I respected and admired more than Robbo. My first glimpse of his genius (some might call it madness, but that line is often blurry) was in a random magazine called PG.......something. His insights and logic as applied to my new addiction made me an immediate fan. As I got more into the game and started taveling and meeting the various characters that dominate the PB landscape, his legend grew, at least in my eyes. All the stories I heard and events I saw made him more than human. When I began creeping around these forums, I made it a point to pick his brain as often as possible. Despite incurring his wrath on a couple of occassions, I always enjoyed what he wrote. Robbo, if you read this please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you all the best now and in the future. Even if you never think about paintball again you have already left an indellible legacy that will never be rivaled.
Thank You for everything.

The only reason I am posting this is coz Pipes came round the other night and told me about some of the replies on this thread.
I am coming off the front line of paintball inasmuch as leaving Nexus and this in itself will free up some much needed time.
Next year is gonna be a year that requires a great deal of commitment from both player and coach and recent circumstances have meant there is no way I can commit to that regime over the next few weeks let alone in 2005.
It just wouldn’t be fair on my family or players to try and do it half hearted.
I am still going to be working for PGI and involved in Paintball but my involvement is going to be in the background rather than up front as a tourney coach.

I'm genuinely sorry for all the people I have pissed off on these boards (except for two) but I genuinely only ever got pissed off with people who I thought were deliberately arguing ridiculous points because it was me who was on the other end and not because they sought clarity or a sensible resolution.
I made some good friends on this board as I have in Paintball and will genuinely miss it all, especially Nexus :(:(:(
I been in this beloved sport of ours for nearly 18 years, my time needs to be redirected.
I really appreciate all the comments made.

To all my guys on Nexus - Hmmmmmm, I think you all know.....:(
