Trouble with Eblade eye

still can't pinpoint why my eye isn't registering changes like bolt open/closed

tried everything that has been suggested, and the knowledgebase hasn't solved the problem

and the connection from the eye to the PCB seems to be fine

any other ways to solve this problem without sending it of to planet

Christ dont send it to planet...it will cost you £20 to send it up there...just get Planet to send you an eye..if the marker is under warranty they may do it for free....take the eye off the marker and send it up to them, let em take a look, give them the serial number of the eblade frame/marker...its inside the grip on the board on a sticker for the frame, on the front mount for the marker...get the new one back and fit it, job done...ive had mine go, thats what they do...some of the older ones were more liable to failure, but Planet have sorted that now, the new ones are much more reliable.

You had better get another eye asap, isn't your warranty getting towards its end?

Give Eclipse a call, they should be able to sort it really quick, or if you are out of warranty pass me your marker (through J or training) and i'll try my eye on it AND i'll sort out your crappy looking qev's

I have order a team tech kit thingy from planet which has 2 eyes in it so I shouldn't have any problems when it arrives
