Trouble with Eblade eye

the eye on my 2k3 Evo-X eblade keeps thinking there is not ball in the breech.
I have checked:
- fresh battery
- pinched or boken wires under screws
- try to clean the eye

the eye keeps reading 000 whatever state

I have only go the eye to work for 1 day in the 11 months I have had it and that was at the March PGI 7's

Pretty common problem dude, mine did this, new eye solved it, they 'brun' out quite alot apparantly

I had the same problem on my evo x - problem was sunlight shinning through the ball detent hole on the evo x and confusing the eye! Solution - bit of tape to cover the hole, or play at night

Select eye mode then show and see what the reading is should be 200 ish then put your finger down the feed neck to block the eye and the reading should go right down. If this works your eye is OK and its the problem outlined above. If it does not then your eye is knackered

Make sure some fool hasnt set the Eye setting to something silly....go to EYE SET and make sure it is around 128...

the eye setting is 128, I am trying one last crack at cleaning the eye then I will have to ask for a new eye

does it go down it go down from 128 when you put you finger don the feed tube into the breech to cover the eye?

Mark mate, 128 is the sensitivity setting, not the eye reading...
Dude, did you try that bit about the tape near the ADB hole thing?
