Joe Bob,

Buy a utility spring kit from your local hardware store and find one you like, or find a nice "click pen" spring and use that.

In answer to the burning question, I've got my trigger set as short as I could possibly get it. It's less than 1mm and light as heck. If you smacked the gripframe in "live" it'd probably shoot. I've got both my angels like that. I just bought a hinge for my backup 'cocker, but the slide trigger that I had on there before was as short, smooth and light as they come, I can actually shoot faster with it than I can with my friend's hinge (but his hinge is setup LOOONNNGG) I like very sensitive, very short, highly reactive trigger setup.

It is:D Some guy at our field borrowed a timmy, and shot himself in the foot in the start box, delayed the game about 5 minutes. Was funny as heck to watch

A subject near to my heart

Well, I normally like my trigger very short and activated at the beginning of the travel but occasionally it sticks...and also, when I hit the ground, I'm careful to point my gun forward 'cause the shock does cause it to shoot. It was actually funny this past weekend, I dropped into the diamond and came out and I think I fired 'cause my elbow hit the ground hard as I peeked and a single ball came out, then I shot a couple more, but that single ball hit the back corner in front of me :) then I leaned a little more and got the guy in front of him...he didn't even know I was there...I was of course amused, I kinda looked at him and he just kept shooting my old bunker so I smiled as I pulled the trigger LOL.
But after I mentioned to a 'timmy tech about my occasional sticking (the switch would be closed so sometimes it wouldn't let the gun boot up...while spectating, my gun took a hit directly to the trigger area) he said to move the activation point back more (make the trigger travel longer but keep the back travel very short) and I remember watching his boss do the very same thing to his own gun a few weeks earlier so now my trigger travels maybe 2 or 3 mm before firing. We'll see how I like it with paint coming out. This is with a flat trigger. I think I can shoot a tiny bit faster with a flat trigger that's angled forward more. I put one in on a friends gun this week and it's awesome (the Bob Long flame trigger...I don't think he's making any more of those, though).
