trigger job?

well, if my mate thinks i'm good enough for his 5man team, i'll probably need to fire faster, as most likely i'll be a back player.

so, i was wondering if it's better to go with a double fingr trigger or to get a trigger job.

another thing, what does a trigger job consist of, and is there anything i can do to my tippy without paying an arm and a leg?

All a matter of taste - some people find it easier to fire faster using a double tigger as two fingers can apply more strength - a longer trigger might provide you with better levearge to fire it too - with the trigger on my mag I can get the fastest strings from holding it right at the bottom. You may find that you can just get faster with a bit of hard practice.

Trigger jobs generally reduce the pull needed to fire - usually altering the sear pin - so don't go trying this at home unless you really know what you're doing as it can mess up the timing of the marker. Less pull means you don't have to pull so far, so it's quicker, and even on non-electros you can get a tiny trigger pull and high rates of fire.

I think Tippys have a reactive trigger mod similar to the automag RT, although this may not be legal in tourneys (or even widely available in the UK, although I'm sure you can get it done somewhere)

Good luck with the team BTW.:)

Currently have a FF Impulse

They all play different roles so its hard to pick a fave, plus I don't wanna thread-jack too much.... oh why break the habit of a lifetime lol :D :D

Right then:

'Cocker, - loved it cos I built it myself and it rocks! didn't like reliability
Angel LED, only had it a couple of weeks
Angel LCD, - liked the idea, shot horribly though
Xmag, - loved not breaking paint, sear wear worried me.
Viking, - simpliest of the lot, efficient, consistant slow but the new software woulda sorted that out.
FF Impulse - fast as f*** but don't like all the upgrades you have to buy.

Paul.
