Roland, Eblades are noted by the tournies as being a 'high risk' marker for bouncing, there are many other ways in reducing this, all of which I am doing.

Delrin Bolt
Increasing Trigger sense times in the FILT menu
Lowering the LPR to reduce force on the Ram

Speak to planet about it, you can reduce bounce without lower RoF, better safe than sorry.
Thanks for the tips, couple of questions

1. How does a delrin bolt help?

2. Which settinds under the FILT menu do you mean and what have you got yours set at?

3. What do you mean by 'Lowering the LPR to reduce force on the Ram', sorry i'm not very technical.

1. A Delrin bolt helps because as it is lighter, it reduces the mass travelling back and forth, which in turn should reduce the 'bounce' effect.

2. The FILT settings are: (You get into the menu via the button inside the grip frame)

TPUL = 4 in Factory Fast, Jack recommends 10ish
TREL = 20 in Factory Fast, again the man recommends 30ish

3. Lowering the LPR apparently reduces the force on the ram, and thus reducing the bounce effect.

All of this is from memory from a conversation I had with Jack, I am 100% certain about the first 2 points, the third I was not fully aware of how it worked, and didnt fancy pissing about with my LPR, but I think the first two will make a huge difference, and you dont have to lose your nice trigger.

Im not sure how the third one would work, well i am but it wouldn 't. If you reduce it too much the cycling of the gun would become slow if it cycles at all. Once that happens the balls wont go far and arch quite alot.

phil the lpr on a cocker doesnt affect the velocity of the balls at all!

the lpr only adjusts the pressure used to recock the marker, thats why it is perfectly legal to have no locking screw in the lpr of a cocker.
im thinking that reducieing the pressure output of the lpr would reduce the impact of the ram piston on its end stop and possibly reduce or remove any kick in the marker....to set your lpr basically you dial it right down then pull your trigger (set eblades in classic mode to do this) you will notice that the marker fires but wont recock, this is because the ram pressure is way to low, slowly turn the lpr knob untill the block moves back and recocks the hammer, the give it a 1/4 turn more, if you have a lock nut on the lpr to stop it self dialing then this is the possition to lock it to.
at least thats how i have always set lprs up

No

The horizontal one that sits alongside your ram. that reg is for adjusting the speed/force of your ram, so drop that one of required.

I think this should really be carried on in the tech room ;)
