thats another reason, my timmy cost £1200, so I dont really want some marshal slapping it about, if anyone is gonna break it, its gonna be me.
or possibly Yankee Andy.:D

so y'all, whats the opinion on trigger bounce in UK series'? personally, it right f**ks me off that a mrker has to be changed/dissallowed because it fires when you wallop it on the back. I cant see that as a problem, because how is it going to alter a games outcome?

i had this problem on sunday dude a marshal would not let me on beacause when he smacked **** out of the back of my timmy a shot would go off...i had a word with blakey about it and he told me that that was not how to test for trigger bounce as he saw it and would sort it out.....i had no probs for the rest of the day.....i could get a inferno to shot like that if i hit it hard enough:D

Trigger bounce is a weird thing to determine
Full Auto / Burst mode multiple shots per single trigger pull
Semi Auto single shot per single trigger pull
The trouble with trigger bounce is that technically can be both of these.
If the recoil of the marker forces the trigger back onto your finger and fires, technically that is another trigger pull as the trigger made two seperate contacts on the trigger. I believe that this "finger bounce" still constitutes semi auto.
If the recoil of the marker can be shown to fire multiple shots after one trigger pull and release then that "self bounce" must constitute Full Auto

A tap on the marker is a good way of determining if the trigger self bounces. If a marker has a hair trigger, which is not illegal, and the marker is tapped lightly then only one shot should fire any more should be deemed self bounce and therefore illegal.
Note I said tap not knock seven bells out of it.

my gun only bounces when im really ripping the trigger. I have never made it bounce when firing one or two shots, only when im really trying to shoot fast.
And i'd have to say i agree with him... My trigger has bounced in the recent past but as he says, it's only when you're ripping the trigger which is generally off the break or trying to keep some guy behind his bunker (usually at range). What difference is trigger bounce going to make there?

When you go for a mug most people would only put a couple on the guy anyway! (I said most not all)

What's the problem?

I have to agree with Mr.Pink..... its all about safety...

A lens on a mask can only take so much at one time... if your shooting ****e outa a player and you hit him in head like 20 times, the lens has a larger chance of breaking and thus killing the guys... and it'd most probably be to trigger bounce... now for granted i dont like the thought of a marshall twating my gun. But safety has to be an issue! otherwise you can kiss paintball good bye, cus the government wont let it run anymore....

if the government got info that this "trigger Bounce" causes the gun to fire faster then you can pull the trigger, this is counted as being illegal as it isnt one-pull-one-shot.

so think of it liek this.... PaintBall or no Paintball...

Dont moan because your not allowed to fire stupidly fast!

This rule was put in for the safety of Players around the world, accept it, and shut up!

I witnessed the test in question.

There is a big difference between bounce and a light trigger.

when hitting the back of the gun, it fired one shot, the question here is how hard are you supposed to hit the gun (i.e with a hammer, most electro markers will fire or explode ;) )

At no time did multiple shots fire from the marker, therefore even on this test, the marker did NOT bounce.

In hindsight, that marker (IMHO) should have been allowed on the field, but in the spirit of MM we let it lie, and used a kindly donated Imp for that game.

This is not an attack on the ref in question, just an observation that the terminology used is subject to individual's interpretation, and should be clarified by MM to stop this happening again.
