If you can't be bothered to search around yourself for a good deal, click on the link below and it'll take you to a company that i've been using for the past 12 months

http://www.gosure.com/index.asp?bonus=1114517

Hope that this helps some people out and means that we get more UK teams to Millennium events.

Nick.
I found a real cheap way of doin this infact it costs nothing at all (prepare to save money) I bank with the royal bank of scotland and have a normal account when i checked how mutch euros were on the exchange rate i got told i had to pay commision unless i had a "royalties gold" account (your bank will have another version of this) the chick behind the counter (who was hot by the way) told me it also covered holiday insurance paintball was on the list, it should cost something like £10 a month but if you change your account a week before you go and cancell it when you get back your insurance should cost something like £2.50 which was nice.:D

I just checked out Marc's suggestion HSBC and Norwich Union are working together on the Policies and their standard cover (not winter sports) covers Paintball as long as eye prtection is worn.

The single item limit cover on your kit is only £250 with a total amount of £2000 for your personal posestions. So he's right you need other cover for your markers etc. This is standard with all travel policies.

1 years cover just for Europe was £57.67.

1 year cover world wide USA was £95.03.

That covers you for as many trips as you like not over 30 days per trip.

true 1yr policy  is that different from a multi trip travel insurance?

Alan.........
Yup - I'm going away for a full year travelling but really want paintball included.

It appears then their standard multi trip policy has different wording to their backpackers type policy.

Hello Blokes,

My Missus is a Travel Agent and handles flights and hotels for loads of UK teams and trade to Millenium Series Events.

She is hopefully going to open a Paintball Travel section at www.walkonzone.com to answer paintball travel questions regarding insurance, travelling with markers and info on local hotels at millenium events and UK ones also.

For direct quotes and info call Off Broadway Travel on 0208 959 1166.

Please make sure if you speak to her that you do not move from the story that 'Everyone stays in their hotel and reads the War Cry in Amsterdam' and that all the girls in Stockholm are 'over 75 and all have false teeth'.......Thanks.

Had a quick look at this thread and decided to also post a great company for travel insurance who actually include paintball in their standard cover and it's even cheaper than GOSURE.COM!!!

Goto www.statravel.co.uk

Also while we're on the subject of insurance, most people also forget to go and get an E111 form from the post office to cover any medical bills if needed while abroad - it's free and it lasts a year!

E111 forms are only relevent to travelling within the EU and even then a lot of the medical services will not accept the form, they are not directly obliged to despite what the EU says. I know from personal expirience and also I know of people who have only taken the E111 form thinking they will be fine.

To Brian this thread has been in place for quite some time and the running advice has been that although you are covered for medical things with the travel inssurance with any of the companys mentioned in this thread the "personal effects" cover is terrible and you should get your marker etc covered seperate. I know it sucks to be on the recieving end of the loss, but the subject was covered. As a slight side note how many of you people out there reading this have your computer named on your household policy...not many I would guess and a half decent PC setup will cost more than a marker and if something happened at home wether a break-in or fire your PC isn't covered unless you specify it on your policy.
