Fear not Matski all is well, we were there to trial a couple of potenial 05 rosta additions. Having 2/5 th's of the team never play together before was a slight disadvantage and we blew hot and cold but it's all good. True the game we lost to HPG to knock us into 3rd 4th play off stung a bit but they deserved it - should see more from these guys in the future!

Thanks to all you guys who made the finals such close games and well played to all the other teams there, it was an awesome tournament !

Well done to the organisers and especially all the marshalls who did a top job on both fields all day long.

Overall it was an excellent day with lots of great competition and I hope we can do it all again real soon !

Just an afterthought who does Hermitt and his m8s play for, they seemed well interested in me and a m8 playing, but we never got the team name out of them!!! Is that you guys?????

Great Day

Just like to say what a great day it was on sunday, what more could you ask for, great judging, great event, and great facilities, and prize's for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. And what a great final game it was with Twizz rolling back the years, 2 on 1 and Twizz pulled it out of the bag to take 1st place for backlash!! ( sorry guys but i had to put that one in! ) Thanks to all the teams and the guys down at TPC

Master Blaster
Quality day all round I think.

Like I said yesterday, marshalling is something we all do from time to time, but I dont think any of us would jump at the chance! It was made a lot easier by the attitude of the teams and the professional manner shown by even the brand new squads. All in all it was a great tournament with few upsets, played at a fantastic venue, by people who love their game.

All the marshalls on field one are from a new team, "Basic". We have been training at TPC for 2 months or so now, and as such haven't been out and about much on the tourney scene. It was very cool to catch up with all the usual suspects and see some of the faces again.

Big shout to Tom and his boys on field two, very funny guys who made the day go quicker. Lots of love for the Archbishop of Pink, obviously. It was great fun to work with the man. Respect to Karl and his team at TPC also, for running the sort of place paintballers need. The treatment we received as marshalls was second to none.

Chris and Charlie, we were the team talking to you guys about training together. Get in touch with Rich or drop me a mail at tonymicjoe@hotmail.com.

It was fantastic to be appreciated for the job we did yesterday, so a big thank you to all the teams. Best comment of the day had to be "If we can do all this when we are badly hungover, imagine what we could do if we were sober?"

You will see Basic on a tourney field near you soon, and on the podium soon after.

Thanks people.

You are correct my dear Steve, Halloween is the Factory team for HPG. The main squad out of all Halloween Squads is the HPG Factory.

All Halloween teams feed their best players into the HPG Factory team.

Where shall I start, apart from saying that when I pulled up at site and was told there was no air my heart sunk. :(

But that sad face didn't stay for long, as everyone was on their phones ringing around for a compressor.

A BIG THANK YOU TO IAN WEBB for coming up with Doug's number AND A BIGGER THANK YOU TO DOUG SETTERS for coming down and running the air for us.

Once the event was under way, it was a great day!

I would say a Big SORRY to Gary for bonus balling you I THOUGHT AND WISHED IT WAS ROB!
