A word of Thanks

Glad you all had a good day.

That standard of play was very high, and so was the standard of sportsmanship!!!

As Tony said marshalling is not the best of fun, but as every one who played was very friendly and professional in making sure they arrived at the fields on time and ready to rock.

I can't believe more teams aren't entering into this series, as the teams that are there are of the highest quality, the fields are great to play, and the level of marshlling (even if I do say it myself) has been higher than most similar level tournaments.

And your not gonna get better if you don't play better teams!

Plus how many tournaments actually have a prize package worth having!?!

I just hope I get a chance to play the next one!

PS as a marshall I would just like to thanks Dave, Karl, and the Pinkster for looking after us and treating us with respect and making sure we were properly fed and watered! Not many people get treated that well when they are mashalling.

On behalf of the Ironlions I'd just like to take the chance to thank all the teams who came down and supported the event and all the people who put their hands up to marshall meaning we could enter a squad as well. Hope you can all make it to the next event which will be announced in the next few days with further details.

On a personal note, well done to the Flying Pigs who are all brand new players to tournie ball and in their first tournie got to play against some top quality teams. This is a great chance for novice teams to get some great experience in a small scale tournie. Also wanted to say well done to the Young guns for that last game. Nearly caused an upset down to 1 on 1 with the Pro team. Was very entertaining to watch.

I thought Team Halloween was the HPG factory team? And yeah, tigers 3rd? Looks like they were consistantly better in the prelims and then lost out in the finals. Well done to the giant killers.
