I've always wanted to be a runing back (at least I think thats what they are called, the guys who stand behind the QB and run into the opposition with the ball:confused: ), thats all I do in rugby:D . Just get the ball and run at the opposition. Also why haven't they worked out that if the stay down at the line of scrimmage for a split second after the snap, the opposition would already be almost standing and you can drive in low with more power and create a gap for the QB to get sacked through?!?!

Liz: I did indeed play line, and I have just about played every position within both the offensive and defensive line. But my speciality was defense. Well spotted.
Cowface: They where big padding in the NHL too...
Charlie: Running backs were my natural enemy, along with quarterbacks. :D As far as the going low thing is concerned, if you wait a split second when it's a running play, the big offensive linemen will be on you! And that's no fun (ow)! On a passing play, they usually take a few steps back, and let you come at them, that would give them just enough time to adjust to what the defense is trying to do. But not always....yummy!

Jay is it easy enough to find places to play American Football in the Netherlands or were you pro playing for NFL Europe? Its just that I think it will be a lot of fun to play and I want a change from my rugby. So I know there is a uni team at Oxford Brookes where I am going and I want to see if I will be able to carry on after uni.
