How legal in tourni's would this trigger set up be Rocking Trigger
Just seems such a simple idea, and in theory, it is still only one shot per pull!
Only reason I ask is I have a trade account with these people and was looking at bringing in some body kits!
Cheers all.

I believe Steve Morris has something similar on his Angel Speed, and as he is the chap in charge of marshalling at the Millenniums I guess if he can use it, then it must be.

Might be worth asking him.

mmm as it has two switches in it then no it is more than likely not tournie legal
if you define a trigger pull as a complete cycle of the complete range of movement of the trigger then this trigger will fire 2 shots and therefore not be legal
check with the people who write the rules but im pritty sure it wouldnt be allowed

No mate look more closely. The trigger pivot is in the middle. Pulling the trigger with the upper finger (a trigger pull) operates the top switch. Pull again with the lower finger (again a trigger pull) will operate the bottom switch.
All the same an interesting idea!

I would have thought this could be deemed as '2 triggers' as there are 2 switches...i know some tourney rules state 'A single trigger'.
Also as it pivots in the middle of the trigger i assume the gun starts its cycle as one tip of the trigger is fully depressed, then it fires again when the other end of the trigger is fully depressed and therefore the first end is fully released... so that's one shot per pull and one shot per release of the trigger... also illegal???
For Fks sake isnt 13-17 bps (ave) enough??...just practice!!

In theory it still is only one trigger, only the pivot point is moved.
The gun cycles once when the upper of the trigger is pulled and again when the lower is pulled (not released).
The thread was not meant to be about the speed, just the concept.

Like I discussed on the PA forums I'm sure AGD designed a similar trigger to this last year and it was deemed illegal in the NPPL etc. Don't know the specifics, will look it up on the automags forums. They had gone one further though and placed a wheel type bearing in the centre where it pivoted so you could slide you finger up and down the wheel top to bottom to fire faster :)
