I thought that might have been a typo. But notice I wrote "...games will be played in a dome." Even if it is spectators they will still be games. :)

If what you're saying is true perhaps the wording should have been "Walk-on games will be played in a dome in the middle of the trade show," or something like that. I hope that people other than spectators (like players, officials, trade show peepz and whomever) will be allowed to play pick-up games in that case. In fact, I hope I get to make a fool outta myself in some pick-up games.

Whatever the case it sounds sensational.

I doubt that it is the "vast majority" but it is true the staffing is pretty international. I just remember how cordial and helpful the hotel staff was (including a Canadian receptionist) and how a French man saw that I needed help in a train station and went out of his way to help me. I can add that I have only encountered abject rudeness once or twice in all my travels in France over the years. According to my French wife the key is simply greeting service people in French and then asking (in French) if they speak English. Almost always works for me. They perceive arrogance and disrespect when folks just start speaking English assuming they will be understood.

Besides, I always tend to be polite, respectful and diplomatic to peepz that don't disrespect me off the bat.;)

Well, I must say Paris last year was disappointing. Whether it would have been less so without all the Disney hype I don't know.

Then again, Toulouse was (and has been for years) a fantastic tournament with a great atmosphere. If Laurent can work his magic the same way in Paris (and we're not playing in the same field behind the staff car park), it should be a cracking event.
