2 procells. They work fine now (weird), so I'm guessing that the motor straining against a ball stack sapped their voltage faster than normal :? I'll just use it as is for now and rotate the batteries. If it can survive an exploding bottle/reg then it can't be a bad hopper lol. Cheers for the help though. Lemme know if anything comes to mind when you get a peek at yours.
