If you haven't seen it, consider yourself priveledged The goal of the movie was to be as patently offensive to the widest group(s) of people possible. As you've been told, it's about an inept team of superhero-like commandos who bumble around the globe trying to stop terror. And here's the best part... they're marionettes. The only redeaming quality of the movie is that it makes this situation that much more humorous
