To UK Pro and AM teams.....

Just in case you forgot - the Rushers won the Am division at Campaign last year.
There are so many more very good Am teams around now that despite us playing superior paintball (in my opinion) to last year we are fighting it out with 10 or 12 teams all capable of beating each other.
That is why we havent made finals this year - it is disapointing but we are working on it!!!!
We still lay 7th overall in the Am series though.
Campaign power are 2nd in the Nov (Darkangels doing well too) and Shockwave are rocking at 3rd Pro (s'right innit??).
We have some good Pro teams now - the Tigers are looking really good, Banzai will turn it on again, Backlash just need time, NWC have new blood as do Iron Wolf.
What we have a problem is in Am. Rushers can do it and will again - watch this space. Apart from that only Extreme have really ever made the semis (Mayhem and Campaign??).
Bouja threaten (- c'mon boys) and Wolf have got the right stuff in fits and starts. The guys to really look out for are K2 - they really have got it - just need to play stiffer oppo more regularly.
Where are the rest?? Where is the intent to play more Millenniums than just the home legs - i have alot of respect for Thunder - with the experience they are gaining they should start to get more consistent.
So Mr Idiot - what are you doing about it??

The Rushers train, on average, once a week. Many of the team get a couple of sessions per week in during the summer.
With this work ethic we'll be right back up there.
It's not for lack of trying - what about anyone else?????????

Try being more positive and supportive of own Pro and Am countrymen and women. Give them a boost instead of knocking them.
Rushers only missed being the 2000/2001 Amateur Champs by 13 points. Not to shabby!

Stupid Troopers are stepping into the Millenium series this year. Missing out on Toulouse and Campaign Semis by 60 points. We believe next year is going to be our year and may move upto Am. We are currently ranked 7th in the Series 2001. The problem we have as do many teams is the lack of sponsership (and the fact we are all poor students). If anyone has any offers they would be gratefully accepted.

the rushers are nationaly rated as the best am team in the uk, there fore they should show the ambasadors face and help out the smaller/newer teams, if only with advice and support.

as the sport picks up pace prices will come down, leading to more practice and therefore better teams.
i have already noticed this happening but there is a long way to go to catch things up in the states etc.

I tried the hairy student fetish thing. It appears people don't appreciate my gift of being a hairy student. Would have been a good little earner as well.

It's got nothing to do with lack of patrionism, and I am not knocking them!! I want UK teams to win for Chrissake, I'm asking what is it that we need to do to win, and what can we learn from watching the winners
I've got the utmost respect for our teams and always will have, specially the ones that work hard to gain Tournie results, and most of us know who they are.
Mark T asked me what I am doing about it.
Sadly, due to a knee problem I am now relegated to supporting paintball as a spectator and past tournie organiser only, but I was a past Campaign Cup AM winner back min the mid 90's when the Magpies won the Am tournie..

We're chuffed to bits that you all have such a high opinion of the Rushers, especially on the UK and European Amateur scene. The Rushers always do their best to lead by example and have more than enough time to spend with the younger less experienced UK Am teams.
In fact if you ever see us at a tournament, pop over and say hi, and if you fancy trying out any of our gear - Impulse Visions, Freak barrels, Diablo Paint, the new JT Proteus then you're always more than welcome. We pride ourselves on being one of the most approachable and well liked (hopefully) teams in Europe. Learn from our experiences and we will do everything in our power to bring UK paintball up and up

Andy - Yes we are all at Uni. They range from Teesside, to Oxford Brooks, and Newcastle. One of our team is on Work placement this year in Macclesfield as well but he is usually at York Uni.
Nick, I have just bought a 4500psi air system off you and realised that the hosing I have for my Max Flow CO2 reg is not the same type used on your 4500psi reg. Could you please get Nick to bring some along this weekend so I can use my air system? I am fitting the system to my Shocker. Thanks and carry on the good work guys.
