First of all, thats a cool ass pic!

secondly, with the 3 piece barrel system on that site, if you got the barrel unported and then, as billy said get the silencer muzzel (i know its only a name) but given the size of the holes in the muzzel wouldn't that quieten down the barrel a bit?

then, as its only the last couple of inches of the barrel, and the change in velocity between the silencer muzzel & a normal one is minimal wouldn't you be able to have your cake AND eat it? better gas efficiency and also a quieter barrel?

Why not go for the bizerk barrel system instead? From what I have read it is a better system and is cheaper too!
AS long as you have about 7-8" of unported barrel then you shouldnt really effect gas efficiency. Personally I love the sound of a loud gun. Am trying to fix up an airhorn to mine which will play "dixie" every time I pull the trigger.

The simple reason why i dont want a bezerk barrel system, is simply that i want a longer barrel, and they only come in 8 & 10 inchs. And i already have a 10 inch boomy.
if they did a 12 i would have gone for that.
