OMG SUPER-LOL!!!

Suns, any info on WHAT went wrong for you? Also striping a marker down is no big issue... I have done a total strip of my T1 on a field, re-assembled and enjoyed what time was left. IMO, if you have an issue on field with minor issues that a strip and clean can fix, and you walk off because of it, you don't know your marker and should find something simpler.

That said, I have actually veered away from the ION, this is not because of potential issues, I am a firm believer in you get out what you put in (look after the marker and it will look after you). It is purely because for £50 more the Epiphany is available. My trusty old PB store was still selling them at £269 and didn't really look around.

The PMR was an option, but I didn't see any thing that stood out and said "get this its the nuts".

I think I am leaning towards a 2nd hand Ego '05. Purely because it looks simple enough. I have a marker that runs on similar principals. I did look at something like a DM, but I am not sure I like the whole "closed system" thing. I'm a bit of a pessimist and expect that I will have problems and want to make sure I can recover in the shortest amount of time. Things like a burst in the chamber, rip the bolt out, run a fluffy through, replace bolt and play (when its real bad of course*).

Unless someone can convince me other wise on the whole closed up gun thing. With that said I did like the old Speed 04's since it was easy to get into is (than expected).

Dunno, maybe I am approaching this wrong, but hey I'm a little weird.

* Had ****ty paint that didn't fit through the centre of the barrel so, opened up but no paint showed before it all exploded in the barrel (8 balls at once)
