If tournament paintball were an investment, it would be one frikkin great Ponzi scheme. And reading this thread, I was thinking of starting my own Hedge Fund, so if any of you want to invest hit me up. I'll throw in a Moldovian hooker with every investment of 10 bags.
On a serious and on topic note, the point about guns is quite relevant. Some players are so heavily leveraged keeping pace with the latest must have gat, they can barely afford to play. Their so convinced in the magnificiance of their marker and it's mythical abilities they sit at home kidding themselves that they are good or marker maketh the man. They then get upset when the marker is worth FA, and they're still sh*t at paintball. And you know what, a very similar thing happenend to Lehman Brothers. Heavily levereged, sh*t load of over valued cr*ppy assets and ultimately were investment banking goobers.
