nice to know that to own a site you dont need to know anything about paintball.

but it is comon. at the same time its also quite common for "walk-ons" (people with their own kit) to be placed in "punter" (people without their own kit) games which usually leads to the walkons becoming punter hunters. and ruining the punters days.

something i can say doenst hapen down my local site without prior consent of the punters.
very good point:)

I've found this to be the case too. Quite a few sites in my area won't let people bring their own markers to a normal 'punter'day. 3 of the 4 sites local to me won't allow own markers & i haven't asked the 4th. Reasons given are that other punters feel at at disadvantage, site insurance and problems with the velocity being tweaked after chrony on own markers, or modes being switched, eg into turbo or burst.
This is why your tourney scene grows at a lilliputian rate compared to the US.

yeah get a flatline for the tippy takes a little while to set it right (bout 15-30 balls) but once done you will be impressed balls fly dead straight no drop up to 250-300ft

If your doubling the distance, you willl in turn be halving the velocity after it reaches the point a normal marker will fire. So your gonna have a lot more balls bouncing off people.

belive it or not i actuelly tested on a open field the marker was shot at chest height and the ball flew dead straight for at least 250ft+ before it lifted up about 2ft and kept going now i know the field i shot it in is over 300ft wide and the ball went over the boundry fence. Also yes i agree the ball would have bounced off of some one at that distance but still a good barrel
