tipman 98 or spyder e99

It kind of depends on how your going to be treating your equipment. If you know right now that you won't be maintaining your gear, throwing it in the back of your car after a game and leaving it in your bag until the next game without any trace of cleaning or lubrication, then the tippy is the way (I'd echo ruthless' sentiments here, the tippman simply will not break down). BUT, if you take care of it, clean and lube it regularly, and throw in some new seals every now and then then the E99 will treat you better. The recent advances in entry level electros have been simply amazing, they are so damn cheap and really are decent markers; while the tippman may be rugged, but it really is a solid chunk of aluminum with a design that hasn't changed much at all in 5 years (they're overpiced if you ask me).
And I's have to disagree with ruthless about the dependability of electros, IF you take care of them and keep a fresh battery in, they will treat you fine (One time I accidentally took my Black Dragun swimming in a really deep puddle and came out firing, a little wipe down of the electronics and any rustable parts and it was fine). The fact is, electro markers are fast becoming the way to go now, while pneumatic designs haven't really changed much in 5-6 years.

the only prob i have with the tippmann is i feel realy comfortable shoting wid my swearing finger and like to have a double finger trigger thingy

It depends man the tipman is easier to keep as has been said. I have seen them chucked hit dropped in mud and everything u can think of and they still work. Where as the spyder will need a lot more love but it will pay off if u want to move to tourney but at the end of the day they are both good rec ball guns.

Well i have had a E99 it was ok then i bought a TIPPMAN A5 FOR REC BALL what more can u say TIPPMAN is the better one.
right ok then i think i will go for da tippmann but i have heard that the barrel is realy bad what barrell should i get for it!!
but i dont want the c02 bottle to screw into the foregrip!! how much does a double finger trigger thingy cost then!!
Dude, just go use both of em.. you'll get a feel and then see which one you like. The E99 is lighter, closer and easier to run with, easy trigger pull and electric! But (always is) The Tippman is harder, you dont need a hopper, and basically black...
You'll need to upgrade barrels on either of them, they always come with crap barrells, I got an Impy, and a Spyder imagin for back=up, and I would recommend the Smart Parts teardrop £30 for either of em...
