I have used.

Both a GZ Timmy and a Angel Speed. For my money the GZ is better.
Both are simple switch on and go type markers, but I like the Timmy's trigger better. More return type feel to it. Just my own opinion.

As for weight, depends how you set it up and what air system etc you use. I didnt notice any problems, using both markers, and swapping a Angel air and a Nitro duck on them. The angel air was the heaviast on both guns.

As for rate of fire.....thats up to how fast you can shoot? both markers will fire as fast as your hopper and trigger finger will go.

Same with accuracy.....thats down to paint/barrel match.

As with most top end "tourny" markers these days, its up to what you like the "feel" off the most.

The back up support is better with the Speed, cause WDP is in this country. I had to buy one screw from the states for the Timmy, no one over here could find the correct one. Not a great problem, but still worth a mention.

You pays your money, and gets what you want!

With reasons to back up opinions please, thankyou :)
I would never go back to an Angel after using this baby :D :D

A one of one masterpiece that is fast, easy to use and maintain.

Well I had a Texas Storm Timmy arrive this weekend, all I can say is I giggled all through the 8 pots I shot off. I love it.

So much in fact I have sent pbsmoker an offer on that Ironman, I love it and would rather have a 2nd marker to match.

Mike I am sending off for those bolt pins I spoke to you about a while back. If you want one it comes to approx £18.

I'd like to post the message JoseDominguez sent me after using my ex Ironman gun... But I ought to check with him that it's ok to do so first :D

Put simply... I'm pretty sure he likes it! ;)

I also think the Armageddon is a bit heavy for a reg and doesn't help the gun's weight. But it does work well...

I love em, especially my Empire... which is lighter and more compact than any of the Timmies before it... I use a crossfire 450psi output 4500psi tank screw in now, and it's light too! My whole set up with a halo is light, accurate and FAST!, what more could I want?

They are machines guns, and consistent too ( = accuracy).

The only thing that people can accuse them of is them being of cheap build quality, particularly the classics, however i have yet to see one break badly.....

I have a Timmy as a back-up-back-up. It is a Z-series (GZ after Ground Zero stopped using them).

Good markers in general with a few complaints.

Most Timmies need an adjustable cap for the back of the sleeve the ram sits in. That is the lower tube. The reason this is often helpful is that the ram can have too much backward travel, allowing the bolt to move far enough back to create problems with feeding. Timmies should be equiped with this simple upgrade stock, since so many just need it. On the bright side, they are about $25-$30, whatever that means in the metric system.

The craftsmanship is sometimes poor. As noted, they seem cheaply built. A lot of parts are not secured in the frame, so there is some disturbing rattle. This doesn't affect functionality, but it makes the marker feel more toy-like. The board is held in place with one screw and the battery sits pretty loose. My Timmy was a pain to set up, with serious trigger bounce and reliablity issues. I have ironed out the wrinkles now, and the thing rocks, but I had to work at it. My teammate put air on his and he was good to go, but that won't happen every time.

The Torpedo regs are sometimes lemons. Again, my teammate had no problems, but I did. I was unable to get consistent performance, so I swapped regs. On the positive side, it is a very easy reg to service, as long as you get one that doesn't suck.

The good:
1)It is easy to rip on.
2)It is simple to tech. I don't think there is a more basic way to make paintballs go flying at high rof, so on target. If you look inside, it is amazing that these markers are as good as they are, because they are Spyder-simple.
3)They are light- unless you mount an Armagedon or concrete masonry block to it.
4)There is a broad selection of aftermarket parts (most of which are unnecessary, some of which are essential).
5)It is rather accurate- I do not accept fundamental tenets of physics, and I vote. Different guns shoot paint with different accuracy, however you want to explain it, barrel match or no. Given reasonably good barrel to paint match, Intimidators are in the middle of the pack of top line markers, leaning toward the more accurate end of the spectrum. I am comparing it here to markers like Angels, Impulses, Autocockers, Matrices, Vikings, etc.
I am not comparing it to blowbacks of the more economic variety, pumps, or potato guns.

The proof, as usual, is in the pudding. Wipe the pudding off, then shoot it. There is no accounting for taste.

Fast and accurate and rocks out of the box. Reasonably expensive box but worth it. The special Timmys with the WAS boards are canning machines but if you want to tinker there are lots of things to buy both cosmetic and performance wise.

Build quality was an issue ,mainly I think with the classics, not had a problem since then but like all markers you occasionally get a duff one.

Liam try one, a tricked one, hit the Pheonix stand, they are always happy to let you dry fire them on the stand. ( I know I always play when I go past.) :D
