ok, my timmy has decided it likes to chop now. It wil shoot fine about 10 balls then chop, a few fine then chop agen and so on. I thought it might be because i only have 1 ball detent but that shudnt make it chop shud it?
the barrel bore was large enough for the painballs to almost roll through it so the bore shudnt have been the problem.
Any ideas??

whats your LPR set to?

Only having 1 detent isnt going to do it any good but wouldn't think its the cause.

What paint are you using? remember nights are drawing in and splittarse are starting to whine about the cold so that could have something to do with why your paints chopping:)

ive got my lpr at about 70-80, it does move when i shoot but its always done that and this is a new problem. Oh and its 10 fast shots then chop, then a few more fast then another chop etc.

I know jack sh!t about Timmys, other than them being jumped up Spyders and very bouncy...but...if your LPR is varying...maybe teh bolt isnt going back quite far enough, before it comes forward and chops teh ball?
Jumped up spyders maybe a bit harsh - afterall we could say the same about most dual tubed ram operated markers

I'm putting it to **** paint, ****ter weather personally - but if you have an adjustable ram cap - backing her off a touch wont really do it harm

Replace the detents
check position of the bolt, when back 1/16" should be visible in feedneck,
poor paint
Eyes not functioning properly, check on LCD display either F or D is showing, if S then it is set to go into simulation mode.
Raise BIP and Bolt setting slightly and find the outcome, then drop each one slightly till it chops again, then raise it.

Most probable cause is the detents thougth, speaking from experience.
