Its going to be down to a few things
1) Quality of paint, if the paint is inconsistant sizes its going to be going left right and center with every ball. Better paint is more likely to go in the same place everytime.
2) Paint/Barrel match, if the barrel is too small or too large for the paint its going to be flying all over the place, again bad paint will make this impossible to do. If you are using a freak system you should be able to get a proper match... theoretically
3) Consistancy of the gun, what is the gun reading out over the chrono? If its a large difference between balls its possible that this would make it look inaccurate at long range.
