i recently watched some new s18 simpsons and it was very poor. very poor.

c'mon they've produced 18 series before people are starting to criticize thats not exactly a bad run

and futurama only made 5 before it was cancelled

Too much of a good thing can be bad though.

New simpsons really sucks, although yes, the older ones were VERY good.

I just find the Jokes more subtle and more funny in futurama. The more you watch it, the more little things you find that are funny.

Having a limited run of futurama may have been one of its saving graces. Feels oh so much more exclusive. Quality>Quantity

Simpsons, although funny, is for the masses. I like to think Futurama is for a more selected audience with a 'special' sense of humour.

Futurama meets simpsons? Its going to happen....

Bender turns up in a couple of simpletons episodes i seem to remember

in cape feare in a courtroom scene and as a doll millhouse is holding

and at some point having a beer in moe's with homer

sure there's more though

futurama wasn't cancelled - it was closed through a legal lawsuit filed by Fox!
Because of the digs that simpsons etc used to have, they filed a lawsuit against the creaters..and as an outcome the producers had to loose one of the two..so they chose futurama as the simpsons had more in the way of francise etc...

but in my opinion -futurama is loads better!
