Shows how much he knows really doesn't it............a halo b on a spyder is a damn good idea..... what were his options? a revvy for £50 that he has to get rid of when he trades up? maybe he had an extra £40 spare and realised it was a good investment...... I always say get goggles, a hopper, then a freak set no matter what marker you use.... then worry about a decent marker (you only need a new freak back).
Maybe it was a present? maybe he loaned it? maybe he has an E-blade at home and wasn't a big enough dick to use it to go punter hunting?
Maybe he just has lots of cash, so why shouldn't he buy what he wants?

A so called “noob” who I have been training with at Torni Park uses a spider with an egg. We were doing some mugging drills in the morning, and this noob later went on to mug three players in a game that same day. (One of the moves was him diving over a snake and marking a player at the same time) spyder or no spyder IV got to watch my ass when I play against him now. Like Longbow said, he bought an egg because he had the money at the time and thought it will go with any upgraded marker he may purchase later on.

I usually shoot an ST bushmaster but when it goes down, out comes my trusty spyder Xtra. I don't go slapping a 9 volt revvy on it just because I still own one. I use the same Halo that I use with my bushie. It does cut down on the chops. Who cares if it cost more than the marker? I also use my CA tank on it too. Is that allowed?

I think the bit in the guys sig is the best though,
