I've not got most of the basic kit, marker, hopper, mask air tank/bottle...

I was wondering if anyone has opinions on the splat suit? (http://www.splatsuit.com) or is this just overkill as far as protection goes...
the next question is, would you be allowed to play or train in one of these?

Dude I played in tshirts and shorts for years. You wont need all that stuff. But of course, you can wear whatever you want for training.

Well it’s a combination of a bounce vest, slide shorts, knee pads, arm pads, throat guard…I agree it looks horrid, however don't most people wear a combination of these …?
