Why.......why.......WHY......do the next generation of ballers insist on adding the stigma of death, kill, murder, shoot them in the face, blow their heads off etc etc.....when for years the way forward to get any recognition that this was a serious sport was to disassociate itself from this sort of stigma:rolleyes:

Most of what has been said is bang on the money with special mention to Tom, Woody, Parksy, Pbudgie, Lump, and DKsize but I will add one more thing :-

People who have played the game for a few years and think they know about paintball, these are the worst of all because it is within their nature to try and teach the game, they love to play the big man, they love to feel as tho they are respected and yet, they know fack all.
The poor bastid young players who come into our sport and don't know who to listen to and who not end up being taught by some of these jerk offs and learn completetly inappropriate techniques (that are soo difficult to get rid of ) and inappropriate thinking.

Just because people have played a few years does not mean they know the game least of all, they certainly don't know how to teach it.

Is that coz we use your tax money to fund playing? :p

The way some people use claims of being sponsored to make themselves look better. Give them a free pen/hat/keyring and before you know it they feel obligated to put the company's name in their forum sig and jerseys. They aren't fooling anyone! Mind you the industry people have a certain amount of the blame for this as well in my opinion. Call a bulk buy special offer a special offer, not sponsorship.

When someone tries to mug you, you hear their elephant feet coming, you lean out, shoot them, get back in, they still come mug you out.

When food is on hand at a big event, and it turns out to be junk food. Very expensive junk food.

Dry firing. Dry firing videos. WTF?

Kids who think you are past it because you used to play in the woods, when in reality you learn certain aspects of field craft that will never be learnt on sup air.

Players that moan about sandbaggers. Get over it, did you want an easy time of things? Does nobody think of it as a challenge anymore?

I have to honestly think I'm guilty of that, I do go round trying to teach noobs the game, I've been playing for a year and a half as a tournament player! Yes, I know the points system, and a fair few things, I know a few players too, and I do feel respected...although I still get people bitching on me. Stories happen to come around about me quite often (like Cheating...and teams hating me - For no reason?) also, I'm the person that when I do something good, I brag...because I'm proud of myself...partly because I have no one to be proud of me, not that it's an excuse.

Don't hate the player...hate Suicide, he aint no player he's a bitch.

Luke.
