Thermal Lens Cleaner?

I'll keep it quick and dirty, can you use any Lens cleaner (such as JT MAGIK) on Thermal Lenses, or are there specific cleaning fluids for these?

yep thats what i use, but don't spray it on the inside(wipe it with a soft cloth/tissue)

Yup when I was new to paintball and thermals were first released I made the mistake of using cleaner on the inside of the lens (not knowing any better) completely borked them it did

JT spray works spot on... although I'm still sure its fairy washing up liquid and water repackaged and sold for an extortinate price

Personally use the V-force anti-fog solution it cleans really well and doesn't smear. But again dont use it on the inside of your thermal lens

erm, stupidly I used the JT stuff on the inside..what does it do exactly? I can't notice any difference...

you can buy JT pack fiber pack which i believe contains about 10 clothes for $8US, plexxus spray (giant can) for about $9US

next time you make an order online or at a store, ask for lens cleaner, usually they'll give you a small 32 spray free

why don't you just use water?!?!?! it cleans the best and it doesn't harm inside or outside as long as you don't pour water onto the inner lense... it's what the bits of paper say to use as well. Save yourself some money....or i'm just a cheap skate

srays can get inbetween the lenses,if sprayed on the inside,and will fog up the lenses forever

is submerging the lens in water ok?

as it is the easiest way to get the lense clean with out fibres being left behind on the lens

no don't submerge it dude. run water on the outside of the lens with it pointing downwards and then get a tissue dampen it and then rinse it out and wipe the lense. then clean the edges and your done.
