far as i can see, that looks normal, cant see a dink or hole anywhere... alll bottles have that black bit on the bottom, and looking at a teammates stako, it also has the silver metal bit in the centre of it too unless there is something im missing here

A while ago someone posted on here the link to an H-PAC PDF file which you could use to identify whether your fibre tank is safe to use or not. Had a search around on the web but I can't find it so if anyone knows the link please post it here.

Would be a bit risky trying to air it up without checking - The nick in the first pic looks kinda dodgy.

if youre in the vacinity of planet, take it for a little roadtrip and see what they say, or, if in doubt, send it back

im sure theyll have no problem if you explain the circumstances. and if it is damaged, theyll be able to send it back to stako, and if not, and the packaging is still in fine condition, they should be able to sell it on again

no where near planet's office, i guess they should replace it, as it came with a flaw.

but does anyone know how thick the walls of the bottle are? i just put a pin init and its not that deep.

try looking on stako's website, youll need to click the english flag at the top though since its in austrian

i had to peek at it a bit for my physics a level coursework, and i think it does say on their site
