Here's what you get

Robbo-san,Yeah, yeah, yeah.... your jealousy is showing through.
Mix all those together and I'll tell you what you get. You get a country that produces paintball players who dominate the planet.
Greed for money - we gotta win to collect
Amoral judiciary system - we've been shooting at each other, or watching others shoot at each other since we were in diapers. Do what you do best.
Individuals with no moral code - commenting on this would just add fuel to the fire, I'll leave it out.
No common sense - we don't realize that we shouldn't be able to fly across the foeld, leap tall bunkers, snap shoot loaders from 40 yards - therefore we do. You guys are limited by what your sense tells you you can't do
Attorneys who care - Jerry Braun - the Godfather of American paintball. The head mafioso of the greatest players in the greatest game
All in fun:D Don't beat me up too bad.

No I won't touch you Baca I promise :)

You can't fool me Mr Moo !!!!!

Oh, and I suppose the House of Lords and the rest of Parliment is a controlled environment? I was there in 2000 when they had that election disaster, I saw it. Government, no matter how it's handled, is insane. When I was a boy I was told that anyone could grow up to be president. And based on the last few (Bush, Bush Jr., Clinton, Reagan...) I'm beginning to believe it.
And, as for lawuits, I think a lot of it is sticking it to beople / companys that seem to have money. It's stupid, actually.

Hey Tyger, it's almost a given that every government in the world ends up as a comic parody but I am talking about a country's judicial system for God's sake, supposedly devoid of such idiosyncratic buffoonery !!!!
In the words of many of your compatriots who I have had the pleasure to talk to on so many occasions regarding the state of the Old US of A, 'Hey Robbo, it's f##ked up man, well f##ked up'

It's almost a resignation, in fact it was more than that, it was a total acceptance of the way things were.
And worse, it's coming over here now and we seem to be helpless against it's insidious assimilation into our society.
Could be, we end up becoming a little old star on that flag of yours....ahh the bitter-sweet irony of it all :)

Naw, I don't think we're quite up to taking another island. We have our hands full with Puerto Rico. Besides, you guys are exporting your TV shows, you deserve our legal system.

As to the judicial system, you have to realise that judges are not appointed, they're ELECTED. Supreme court judges are appointed, then approved, but for the most part local judges are elected officials. Meaning they're politicians in black.

Oh, and the woman who sued McDonalds, Mac and Dons took her back into court and won an appeal. She never saw a dime of her earnings to this day.

At least Clinton had an IQ I don't think the current incumbent can spell it :D And as for adding another star I heard some comment to the affect England is the largest aircraft carrier in the fleet.
