The guy with the biggest gun wins..... budding GI Joe dads........whut BS.

Obviously whoever wrote that atrticle needs to get their hollow head outta their stuck-up a*s.

Really id like to meet that person and ram the millenium events, NPPL events down their throat.

Forests? hardly, try an find who wrote that thing and get them to every single paintball event in the world.

Then we'll see what rubbish they write then.

yeayea i know about the language

Buddha said it best....the majority of the 'real' or 'mainstream' press already has it in their skulls what the sport is, and dislodging that misguided perception ought to be the first order of business.

This was really driven home to me by my photographer while we were covering the Shatner game. He literally had those people following him around so that they could get "The good shots" and he was called 'crazy' or 'stupid' by more than one of them when he'd run into the middle of a firefight to get pictures! He was incredulous at the lack of understanding, but had fun pulling a disappearing act on them so that they wouldn't steal his shots!

Another thing I noticed...Melissa, who was Mr. Shatner's publicist (I think) really seemed to like dealing with us Paintballchannel.com guys mainly because we didn't treat her like a moron...the impression I got was that she wasn't treated in a respectful manner by the 'mainstream' media types, and the fact that we did made an impression on her....I think that is the chink in the press' armor that we need to exploit. What with Shatner doing another event next year, and Maurice Gibb putting his name on events, they're GOING to attract more and more of the mainstream guys....so long as the rest of us involved in our sport treat the 'little people' with respect and understanding, it'll do the sport more good in the long run than a blue million positive articles in daily newspapers. The sport is growing...the public knows what is going on...it's just a matter of educating the mainstream people now.
