I am unsure what exactly you are trying to say? That the cushion of air behind the ball will exert a force on it after it leaves the barrel? or from another fired just after it? I think the force after it leaves the barrel is close to negligible and too complex to model. All credit to the guy for sitting down and putting some thought in to a opten ingnored area of our sport.
How ever one error i noticed was the assumption that once the ball has left the barrel the marker exerts no force on it.
Place a ball on the table and dry fire one shot at it from 6 inchs away. I'm pretty sure it will move.
