Whats the technicall diffrences between

A . The Mantis Ego

B. The xsv Ego

C . The Nexus Ego

( sos if someones alredy made a topic like this )

All of them have the STAR trigger frame and trigger, 2 piece shaft barrel and custom milling.

Mantis
Does not have the STAR regulator
Has the nexus bolt

XSV
Has the star reg
Has the DART bolt
Has the frm with pressure guage

Nexus
Has the nexus bolt
has the star reg

wich one out of the 3 is best then ? is the nexus bolt better than the dart bolt ?

Nexus bolt is shorter, so technically it would be better as it will be lighter. DART bolt will difuse the air more, so better for fragile paints, but probably a moot point.

I do believe that the XSV ego has one difference, in that it has a larger milled valve chamber so it operates at a slightly lower pressure.

Overall tho they will all shoot more or less the same.

All 3 are a lot more expencive than the normal ego!!

• They offer "custom bolts" so you sould really buy the dart an cut the back off, DIY style
• They have milling, this sets them appart from other egos, and shaves a fraction off the weight
• They have the star FRM, which is available from planet an only offers a guage which u will use once, then will just offer a slightly larger profile

All in all, buy a normal ego, and a DART bolt, cut the back off the bolt, an aslong as you like magno triggers you are sorted (you may like the star trigger aswell)

Then you can rest in the knowledge that you can now afford more paint at tourneys, so just be a little more trigger happy!!
