I'm just saying that there is no such thing

Pro = Professional = thats what they do full stop

Not 5 times a year merchants!!!

Cant see them doing too much practice between events!!

And Pro in its truest sense aint gonna happen in my lifetime

I know - it just focuses my point even further!!!

Having paid judges is the correct way to go and equitable for all involved.

But at what cost?

the millenium series has been looked at by me as the series to play in Europe if you wish to play competitive paintball against good/better teams, and with good judging and facilities. This year our plan was to attend 3-4 mill series events to play and better ourselves, however looking at actual playing time versus money spent and also taking into account my/our experiences of previous events this number may be reduced drastically- how can i justify taking a team to an event where the bulk of the competitiors (7 man) were treated as second class players, where we may have to purchase new software/ boards- to get the most from our markers after the new proposed rules announcement when the team could attend other individual events that offer the same for less- or even better for less.

I wait with bated breathe to see if the players are listened to, it's all very well promising that this years events will be better than ever before- but you're gonna need to do more than promise to keep and attract players.
