Any advice on where to get the codec? I got the player from the divx site and it came with some lovely Gator spyware.

As for the disappearing, I found it to be a good thing. It's both in-character as well as not violent (aside from the guy getting his face blown off at the end, anyway!)

Well this link says Codec only, it's what I've recommended to a mate who had problems to you and I assume he got it working, or watched it on another machine. So try .
this.

If it's still a probelm let me know I'll look at other formats, though won't be until after Xmas now!

Cheers

Just block it on your firewall m8 thats what I did first time I got "infected" with it, hasn't caused a problem since.

Chain,

If you can get it to work with Winamp that would be cool, I know a lot of people use it, it's free and doesn't have any spyware.

Or even in wmv format that way you don't need any plugins or downloads to play it :)

Nice video though, liked the intro bit a lot :)

Thanks for the feedback :D

Not sure what the problem is with sound. I've heard it on a variety of setups now, and the quality goes from pretty dreadful to excellent. On the "reference" system I mixed it on, it sounds great, full of bass and very "live". On PC speakers it does suffer though.

Later today I should get some time to get it encoded in other formats. Not sure the codecs I have, but I'll try and knock out a few alternatives and upload them. Also for those with DVD burners I've nearly finished a nice 400 to 500 meg file you can burn straight onto a DVD and play in most DVD players - would be done by now but I've decided to add a little trailer and easter egg, with a menu. That may be a few more days....

I'll post when the other formats are online.

Cheers
