punter shot marshall
marshall shot punter.
end of story.
i guess you dont get what i'm trying to saying
at the end of the day when things like this happen
it puts our sport in a bad light to the public
paintballers will all be tarred with the same brush
it doesnt matter if you're a recball player
tourney player or just play occasionally

I agree 100% freddie, but i'm also a realist...the world is full of a**eholes who ought not to allowed out without supervision\a muzzle but its not like that,so you end up putting up with them:( in all walks of life not just paintball.

So £70 per 1000 therefore £140 per box correct?

Box of paint being £42.50 for me to buy that's £97.50 profit.

That's where Fat Bobs paintball went wrong in their post about paint costs on sites. Obviously the site you're on about makes £100 profit per box rather than £10. PLease note I have no idea what site Fleisher is on about abd base my judgement on his honesty, (and the fact that I've seen £50-70 per 1000 quoted elsewhere).

I really don't mind people making a profit after all sites give us somewhere to play, but sheesh that's really expensive for walk ons, it's be cheaper to go play at a tournament and probably more fun.

Even with a bulk discount that's encouraging me to stay away...no way could I afford my paint habit there.

Not in a month of sundays

Amen.

Though if I was the site owner that particular marshal would never work there again. What happens next time? maybe he/she clouts a player, smacks them with a marker or any number of sueable things.

Make an example of them, it was bang out of order

if we make an example of this one unfortunate person
will it stop?
i'm not sure,but i dont think so.
everyone has bad days but...............
we, the players have to show the way
players marshall too remember
i know in an ideal world WE'D ALL GET ON
but this world is far from ideal in many ways
but it's all we've got
let's make the most of it while we're here
now i really sound like my dad

How do you make an example of the ref /,or idiot punters ...Pass:( ,it does raise the question of something akin to a British std.\Iso for sites and maybe a register of refs but does the industry want this or are prepared to get involved in setting up\regulating such a scheme. Its the best but most difficult way to gain the acceptabilty which paintball needs ,forget rec vs tourny etc. the only way paintball can progress in the UK is it becomes more professional in its outlook\operation etc.
