This is a hard one - it's either going to be 22 June at about 8.30pm or 23 June at 12.45pm.

After consulting the entrails (otherwise known as tossing a coin), I've decided to go for Thursday 22 June at 8.37pm.

Charity will be very disappointed, Mike, and we wouldn't want that, would we?

Shamefull liz :) ;)
Sorry sweetie, not dissing you in any way but I've been there & done that when it comes to organising paintball events.
Baca is right about the deposits. I would say on average 30% of teams that don't pay a deposit just don't show up at tournaments and I would estimate that the number of no-shows of individual players is likely to be at least a quarter of that for punters, who have a no-show rate of around 25% if no deposit is paid maybe higher.

The fact that I've put my estimated possible cancellation time pretty close to the event is partly down to the fact that I know that you'll do your very best to get this off the ground. As it's on a Saturday there's a very good chance I would want to come up & watch or give a hand with anything, so I really wouldn't WANT it to be cancelled:)
