A brilliant day and a great big thank you to all that turned up, including PBUK for covering the whole day!
Next years' will be bigger and Better.

For those that didn't go, the Romans were victorious, armour was worn, big prizes were given, lots of paint was shot, lots of bright and shiny stuff was bought lots of aching limbs and smiles on faces,

Finally thanks to all the guys and girls at Premier Paintball who let us rip up their wood and abuse their toilet facilities and eat them out of all their sarnies and bacon and eggs! And to Simon the Gamesmaster who wrote a brilliant scenario...take note scenario organisers!
See the game in the next edition of PBUK.

Hail Ceasar!

Strange question?

Why were you one of those that said they were going to go and didn't?

If you weren't and are just interested, we had 60 players in all.

We had a lot of people promise to come, faithfully. But didn't turn up. Some from established teams etc. This is the kind of event that caters for everybody, much like drug wars and kennys revenge, and the swat big game. We have to support them because this is were the future of paintball hangs. Not everybody wants to play tournament.

There is talk of a BATTLE FOR HOTH scenario in december, so spread the word (it is just talk at the moment, depends on numbers, again!)

kind regards
Nick

So when you say it was a bit like Drug Wars or Kennys, what you really mean is that it wasn't anything like Drug Wars or kennys.

More like a walk on day!

good to see your're supporting paintball !

What I meant was that it was a scenario game, a walk on day is a day where people like yourself 'walk on' blatt some newbies and then spend the afternoon in the safe area talking rubbish.

Scenarios like fall of the roman empire, drug wars and kennys have a theme, people dress up have fun, take part in prize draws etc. That tends not to happen at most of the walk on days I have been to... Ask Hatts at PBUK what he thought if you are still bewildered, the report should be in the next months edition, or don't you support that either?

Kind Regards
Nick

Everyone getting upset

Just a point of view from me "The Site Operator" for the event in question.

I am Happy if the players who came , had a good time.
I like to play Paintball and wanted to offer other like minded players the chance to come and play a "Scenario" game at our site.
Some took us up on that , some did not.
It was not or never will be a case of can we get more players than the Drug Wars or Kennys.
The success of the event ( I know this because I talked to the players who came) was down to the players themselves.

We will be doing another event later in the year ( Theme and date not yet decided)
But please keep your eye on the Forum and come if you can.

Every player will always be welcome at our site.
