4. Front Reg - lower pressure on this and dial up with vertical reg - should make it softer on paint and less kick ( or is that my imagination ?? lol) I notice the difference when I tinker with this - also far more contistant over chrono.

Taken Beaks advice and had a squiz on Planet @ the reg dismantle & re-assembly clips which was helpful ... doesn't look as daunting a prospect as I thought now !

To lower pressure on the front reg you're talking about the LPR under the barrell, right ? ... also to lower the pressure is that clockwise or anti ? (apologies for the novice style questions!)

if its breaking in the barrel not getting chopped by the bolt then the chances are its your loader......some times you can run a higher setting but on some guns you need to turn em down a bit...im running my reloader on setting 2 with no probs, shoots plenty fast!

check you detents just incase and make sure its not the paint
