The best Knee pads ?

Although i own several pairs of knee pads I have yet to find some that do not slip down when playing hard and sliding into barricades.

Has anyone found any pads that do not slip down, offer good protection and movement, while at the same time are not so tight that your leg turns blue after 8 hours of use !!!!!

yup cant beat trace knee/shin pads...i think they were origonally a modified hockey pad or something, they fit like a glove, dont pinch, certainly dont move and they have a damn sight better padding than any others ive seen! ive got the worlds skinniest legs and mine have never moved once while ive played or reffed in them.

shame they dont make em any more! ive had mine like 6/7 years and they are still 100%

i used some empire pads at the last dartford and i wore them for the whole day - put them on 7 in morning and took them off 9 at night - altho my legs got very sweaty and the elastic was almost stuck to my leg they didn;t slip down at all and are very comfortable

Trace Knee shin pads rule- Represent old school finery

And for added bling wear em over your troo's with a squeegee tucked down the side.

Trace are definetely some of the best pads created- long padding meant they rest on the top of your shoes holding them in position- the material is thick and durable, and i'm still wearing mine after 3 years of abuse- never since wearing have i injured myself, had some prior to these but sold them due to some mind trick- soon regretted it.

Get some trace pads!

mmm the softball ones are very similar.......cant make it out 100% in the pic if they are the same or not....the ones i have are thicker in the top section than the bottom and the cover it tougher on the top part as well

Trace made a pad that was branded as a paintball knee/ shin this was a softball pad with an additional velcro strip at the bottom of the pad to hold it up on the leg- Always fancied some coloured ones.
