well, I don't think there's a favorite to be honest. XSV could still do it so long as they don't play thier latest 'aquisition' too often. I thought they would win it but now I think top 3. Here are the rest of my ridiculous predictions. None of which ever come true, but there is always a first time...

Dynasty can't be counted out but I am hearing things that would damage that teams chances. They will have technical issues without Rodney's help, and without Rodney I also believe that they will lose some direction. The underestimated what he brought to the team in my opinion. Still Top3 of course.

Avalanche won't do as well this season. They will also have sponsorship problems half way through the season. Top 10 though.

Naughty dogs will be in the bottom half of the table unless they have replaced the lost players with better ones, and I have not heard that they have.

Brimstone will crash and burn, may even be relegated.

Hurricanes will surprise and finish top 6, or they are DQ'ed again and finish 13th, its up to them....

Bobby's team will disappoint. he will rebuild through the season and finish strong though. Top half - just

Bushwackers will do just enough to avoid relegation. They are the new Coventry City.

Arsenal top 3. Their dedicated Texan training camp will hone skills, the team has stayed together and they will now start to grow into a powerhouse. Hopefully they keep Freddie although the Russians are courting him.

Joy to be the strongest Euro team, thanks to thier winter reball training regime. They finish 10th.

Nexus, Shockwave and Tigers - 1 gets relegated together with brimstone, the other 2 prop up the bottom (sorry lads, no offence I hope you ALL prove me wrong!!)

Ton Ton are 14th

Rage, plus a couple of top name florida based additions, finish midway in 9th and are pretty happy with that.

Infamous come in 4th (sticking my neck out here as they could stomp the series, but like I said, I am usually wrong.) Penalties cost them a higher position.

Evil survive with some 'special guests' at the end of the season, but finish bottom half.

I think I forgot a team, sorry about that...

anyway, no offence anyone.

actually scratch that, I just heard something rather shocking about the team that made me change my opinion.
That wouldnt be because of a player you rate so highly just joining the team would it? One Mr G Hastings?

snippet from another site :

"I hear the real deal is he didn't get "picked up" - he bought his way on the team. Word is he had to be on a top 5 team in order for Activision to pick up his game again for version 2. Insiders are saying he paid $$$$ to get on the team. He'll probably cover it up by calling it a "R7 sponsorship" for xsv.... guess we'll have to wait and see."

Hmm;)

Truth or lies?:D

(lights blue paper and steps back....:p )

its totally true, and if you heard the money involved you would be very surprised. Suffice to say its a lot, and it makes me question the commitment of the team to win events over being financially successful, both of which are of course important for any team.

If they give him a jersey and play thier best team then fair play. If he has a 'must play' clause then I don't think they will cut it. I like Red a lot, but he is not a strong player compared to the rest of the squad, and a team won't win the Pro Division with even one weak player.

Just my opinion of course, but if he wanted to give them a G7 sponsorship he could do that without playing on the team, but then he does need the credibility he has afforded himself in the video game, where I believe his virtual self is one of the worlds best players....
