Eta are aparrently not responsible or so they are claiming. Spanish authorities are saying Eta usually sends out a warning so as fewer people are hurt as poss.

When will the world learn..........

BaNsHeE my feelings go out to all hurt in your country M8. :(

Earlier this month the Spanish police announced it had foiled an attempted eta bomb attack on Madrid. Officers stopped a stolen van packed with half a tonne of explosives travelling through the eastern province of Cuenca...

Seems like a mighty big coincedence...

There were other bombs placed in strategic places terrorist knew how and when assitance and support hospital emergencies would arrive... and they placed them over there.. fortunately the bomb mechanism failed.... that something truly from ETA!!!

ETA is at its weakest position in history.. but theyve done the bloodiest masacre in our Democracy... thx to everyone.. your support and words are being truly appreciated at the spanish p8ntball community..

Well, here we go again....time for Mr Bush & Mr Blair to step up to the mark and put their money where their gobs are!

'We shall fight terrorism where ever it raises its ugly head, in whatever shape or form' I think that was what was said.(or something to that effect)
So, heres their chance and correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Spain back them in the UN on the vote to go to war in Iraq?
Again, the Western Governments are open to be accused of using 'double standards' if they fail to do anything....'Hey, its only Iraq and Afganistan, lets bomb the crap out of them', 'Now hold on a minute, its a European Country, Spain, we need to take it easy here..' You can bet that the Arab leaders will be watching with interest how this all 'pans' out. But, again, I will state what I said before....I just can't picture US/UK Marines storming the Spanish Beaches or Crusie Missiles in downtown Madrid...can you?

Just like in N.Ireland, the authorities know who these people are, they know where they are...but choose to do nothing and if this is the case after this latest atrocity how will that look to the Eastern Governments?

'Walk quietly...but carry a big stick'...I think I read that somewhere, an American saying I think....well I think its about time these Vote loving idots started using this 'fabled' big stick.

My sympathies to the Spanish people.
