I can say spammer too. Perhaps we should sell JoeBob into Child slavery.

Shall we start the bidding at two milk bottle tops and a fizzy cherry cola bottle.

:D :D :D

No more silly posts if he's in a gimp oufit. I can't wait (then I am sad);) ;) ;)

Shockers require stripping, cleaning and greasing regulalry (preferably after every tourney).

A teammate has an eclipse shocker which he never bothered to maintain, it was the least accurate gun ive ever seen, even with a freak set and decent paint.

He is now buying an angel.

My angel needs a quick wipe down every so often and a drop of oil every few months and thats it.

Do the shockers have anything like the I-frame?
you can get a HSW frame for the shocker (basicaly the same asthe i Frame but with shocker fixings)

or

you can get a WERM frame which is similar and requires a couple of wire to be soldered (spelling???) to the board and is a litle cheap and easier to get than the HSW frame

I use a an eclipse shocker and never had any bother in eighteen months, very reliable, prefer it to my cocker. great rate of fire and pretty easy to strip and clean. Superb at the back with an 18" and perfect up front with a little 10".
However, the shocker is damn big and very heavy, so unless your my size it's difficult to use up front.
Also, very gas hungry, so for back, you really need a 1.9 tank.
On the plus side, it came in handy at storming the castle----- I used to knock the tent pegs in on the diablo cross.:)
So, basically, it's a sweet marker great ROF, accuracy and reliability (if looked after). But it's very gas hungry and a little large for the average person.
You either love 'em or you hate 'em.

The shocker with the HSW frames shot FAASSSSSSST.

As previosuly stated their only draw back is their weight and Size. I once saw a Shocker shooting small children out of it's barrell, it's that big (although maybe I dreamed that), ho hum.

They weren't brazilian by any chance were they??
now thats a stuck record :p

Only shocker I ever used was a 2000 model 4x4, and it was cool, easy to shoot (turbo board), but the way that it was setup was a pain (HUGE co2 tank set on remote) too much hassle.

The shockers are nice, if very large. (Well compared to my impy anyway) but at least at the end of a tourney you will have some serious arm muscels.
