From my experience, LG are one of the best makes so I would say get an LG or Samsung. What size TV are you after and what's your budget buddy?

If you are going second hand, I'd look for a Pioneer Kuro. Still attracting big money though (around a monkey for a 43 with media box), which is alot for a 6yr old tv. It's thick compared to modern day Plasmas but you'd need to go 2 bags on a Samsung to beat it. I'd avoid LG like the plague.
