Technology?

So I won then?

Good - and here's me thinking I knew Jack **** about technology...

Anyways up, the real interesting stuff is going on over at tournament - if we all pile in there I'm confident we can bully tha Millennium board into introducing automatic promotion and relegation as of next season., thereby ending sandbagging.

Chhhhhhhhhaaaarrrrrrrgggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeee!

Hotpoint, I have actually done bench tests :) many of them, between a lot of different guns. I've also spoken with others that have done the same and been allowed to see and discuss real data looking at the ballistics and firing situations of many markers. Nice bluff but no cigar :)
Not a bluff Manike. How would I know either way? Is your data available online please provide the URL's

I think you assumed I was arguing out of stubborness wheras it was more to do with lack of information. Like I said, if I'm wrong I'm wrong pobodies nerfect :p

And since I really should be working I bid you all adieu until next time ;)

There is no straight answer. Paint is vital.

There are so many important factors even down to the use of detents in open bolt guns and ball to barrel fits in closed bolt guns.

Im my opinion though, when shooting slowly many guns are similar, I believe there is a benefit to guns with a knock open type main valve such as the cocker or angel where dwell can automatically compensate for pressure and regulation behind the valve/in the air chamber is not so critical.

The most accurate semi when shooting slowly that I have ever tested was a Sovereign 2 but many come close or are on par.

When you start firing faster, guns which have mechanically operated hammers (cocker) start becoming the more accurate due to keeping consistency than guns with a pneumatic ram due to the recharge issues and forces associated with the ram system.

When you start shooting really fast revolutionary designs such as the RT valve start taking over and although not as consistent when shooting slowly become super consistent at speed. (often where it counts in modern play).

It's all subjective and each gun must be set up correctly etc. or it becomes a moot point. Any of the good guns can be ****e if set up incorrectly. Any of the good guns can perform competitively.

I could type a huge amount on this and I'm not sure you would get the definitive answer you seak. I would also have to charge you for that 'article' :)

p.s. I shoot a cocker, Sov 2 (just sold to an offer I couldn't refuse) and an E-mag Extreme (soon to be C&C).

Immanuel Kant was a real piss-ant who was very rarely stable. Heideggar, Heideggar was a boozy beggar who could think you under the table.

David Hume could out-consume Schoppenhauer and Hegel. And Whittgenstein was a beery swine who was just as sloshed as Schlegel.

There's nothing Nieizsche couldn't teach 'ya 'bout the raising of the wrist. Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed.

John Stewart Mill, of his own free will On half a pint of shanty was particularly ill. Plato they say could stick it away, Half a crate of whiskey every day.

Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle, And Hobbes was fond of his dram. And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart. 'I drink, therefore I am.'

Yes, Socrates himself is particularly missed; A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.

Courtesy of Monty Python and just about all I know about filo.. fillo.. phylo.. aw, whatever!

:D

Amazing the convoluted thought patterns that go from technology, through art, to philo.. fhillo.. whatever, and back again!

Some links for you...

I suggest reading the whole of the supporting information that goes with this page http://home.surewest.net/hoelkers/dyrgcmn/trajectory.html (although it seems down at the moment :( )

And then for some lighter reading

http://www.northarc.com/~tinker

There is also an article on www.Warpig.com and some excellent information on www.automags.org in the technical section, archived posts and tech tips.
