Exactly, a per John C and Stongle have said, this isn't really an issue, no need for board upgrades, just use a slower loader if you are worried, don't if you are not (or pay to get it upgraded if you want to and can afford it and still want to use a Halo).

Or if you know your marker is inventive when it comes to BPS - just make sure your debounce/TR/whatever is set to lowest - no way you are going to pull over 15BPS in a game anyway .

If you are really dead against it, don't play the series.

John C - the Fly only has BPS limitation with the eyes off, it by passes it when they are on (up to 31BPS)

I quite like the sound of a ramping board using a revvy. Reloader/intelifeed revvys can do a reliable 12bps with a gun with eyes, your board will just sit at that ROF.

That is going to be enough for a front player like me, except maybe on the break. Plus its so much lighter and smaller than an egg or halo...

PS Ben, thx for the info.

I said widely available. Yup they are there, but from a select few places, at $300 a pop and they don't conform to these rules either.

Plus that's only for the Matrix family and 2k2 and pre Timmy's. What about Eblades, SP, WDP etc etc.

Yeah, I know. Just was poking some fun at the irony, as I was reading the threads with an Advantage ad blinking in my face.

Personally, I think a 15 bps cap takes all the fun out of a ramping gun in the first place. I'd rather stick with hitting 18 all on my own in semi. If any league is gonna legalize ramping, they should make it uncapped and just let all the cheaters blaze the living **** out of each other until the idea seems less glamorous to them. In fact, they should remove overshooting penalties too. About 3 tourneys like that and most of the places producing ramping boards would be out of business :D
